Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to join our team in the United States. You’ll install and support GPS, telematics, cameras, and sensors across various fleet assets, with hands-on wiring and diagnostics experience.

Ideal candidates bring automotive/mechanical hands-on background, strong problem-solving, and a safety-first mindset. OTA training and certifications are offered; travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Read basic wiring diagrams and technical instructions.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Professional communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
21+ years of age.

Responsibilities

Install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
Work on light-duty vehicles, trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
Perform basic 12V/24V wiring tasks.
Route and secure wiring for clean installations.
Test system functionality including GPS and cameras.
Document installations with photos and notes.
Travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile installations.
Maintain safety and right-first-time installations.
