Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Morton, IL is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair a diversified fleet to ensure Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina brands reach communities safely and on time.

You’ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues with modern software, and work on light and heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts. Training is provided, and the role is full-time with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• 21 years or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs (with/without accommodation).
• Able to reach lift, carry, push and pull (with/without accommodation).
• Certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty.
• At least 1 year of experience or training in hydraulic/air brake systems, aftertreatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, diagnostics platforms, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Work with a high degree of independence while performing preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Utilize leading-edge technology and programs to complete preventative maintenance and diagnostics (training provided).
• Leverage and grow your skills working on a diverse fleet: automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), vans, and forklifts.
• Diagnose equipment and vehicle failures; disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in vehicle systems (work orders, vehicle records, parts reconciliation, and checklists) while adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
