Job summary

A leading food service distribution company is seeking a Fleet Technician II to assist in maintaining a reliable fleet. The role focuses on performing preventive maintenance and repairs on various vehicles. Candidates should have a technical degree or equivalent experience in fleet maintenance, strong skills in vehicle systems, and be able to document work done using a computerized system. The position offers a night shift with a compensation range of $24.86 - $37.26 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1 Year Experience with 2 Year Technical Degree or 3 years experience in Fleet Maintenance and Repair.
• ASE Certification ' Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty required.
• Current and valid driver's license, CDL-A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles.
• Diagnose and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Document all work performed using Work Order system.

Skills

Basic Knowledge of vehicle systems

Electrical systems diagnosis

Welding and cutting skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training
