Fleet Management Department provides services for the majority of county vehicles and equipment, including acquisition, maintenance, repair, modification, and disposal of vehicles and related equipment. The department operates its main garage in San Bernardino and additional shops for light duty, heavy duty, welding/metal fabrication, parts room, fueling stations, and service centers. It also manages a motor pool responsible for the maintenance and replacement of approximately 1,900 vehicles assigned to county departments.
