Job summary

The Town of Paradise Valley is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to keep vehicles and equipment running safely and smoothly. This on-site role in Paradise Valley, AZ offers full-time employment with a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits.

You will inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, perform preventative maintenance, manage parts, and maintain fleet records to ensure reliability for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Arizona Class D driver's license.
• Senior maintenance skills for vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair/authorize warranty repairs of vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance including tuning engines, replacing parts, brakes, tires, and electrical components.
• Coordinate fleet services with Town departments.
• Locate and purchase parts; call vendors and order parts.
• Maintain computerized fleet records and complete reports.
• Make recommendations on vehicle/equipment replacement and assist in preparing specifications.
