Exelon is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Technician in Washington, DC to perform service, maintenance and repairs on vehicles and construction equipment, including aerial devices and cranes. You will inspect safety, document maintenance, and ensure environmental compliance; readiness for overtime, weekends and travel between Pepco Holdings sites.

• High School Diploma or technical field or equivalent.
• Basic experience performing corrective and preventative maintenance on transportation and heavy construction equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical and mechanical problems on heavy equipment.
• Some experience using PC-based fleet maintenance applications and MS Office.
• Experience working in a team and communicating effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Perform service maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment including aerial devices and cranes.
• Inspect and maintain safe work areas and report hazards.
• Prepare records and complete clerical duties related to maintenance.
• Ensure security and proper use of company tools and equipment.
• Support environmental compliance and safety procedures.
