As an entry-level Fleet Mechanic, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Performing PMs and repairs independently
  • Using advanced technology like voice applications, Noregon diagnostics, Uptake analytics, TAAS, and more
  • Working on a diverse fleet including automobiles, trucks, vans, and forklifts
  • Diagnosing vehicle failures, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and vehicle software records
  • Adhering to safety standards to support Pepsi’s safety culture
  • Contributing to one of the largest fleets in North America

Minimum requirements include:

  • Own basic hand tools (diagnostic and high-tech tools provided)
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, reach, climb, and handle objects (with accommodations if needed)
  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to pass Forklift Skills test (if applicable)
  • Lift up to 50 pounds (with accommodations if needed)

Helpful experience includes:

  • Removing and torquing mounted wheels
  • Working independently
  • Using shop tools (welding, tires, small tools)
  • Preventative maintenance experience
  • Computer skills (iPads, diagnostics, desktops)
  • Hydraulic and brake system knowledge
