Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola, USA is hiring a Fleet Technician to maintain and repair our medium to heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers in Oregon. You will inspect vehicles, run diagnostics, perform preventive maintenance, and keep equipment on the road safely.

This full-time role requires a High School Diploma or GED, preferred ASE Diesel certification, 2–4 years of Class 7/8 experience, and owning a tools set. The wage is competitive and opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of diagnostic, maintenance and repair experience on Class 7 & 8 diesel trucks and trailers.
• ASE certification is preferred, demonstrating diesel systems expertise.
• Must own a personal set of tools and know how to use them.

Responsibilities

• Maintain diesel equipment by performing inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Determine vehicle condition via inspections and diagnostic tests.
• Keep equipment available by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Repair major assemblies and systems including powertrain, electrical, and hydraulics.

What does a Fleet Technician at Swire Coca-Cola do?

This is a full-time industrial level auto-mechanic position, responsible for performing maintenance, running diagnostics and repairing our medium to heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers. You will inspect fleet vehicles, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and play a crucial role in keeping our trucks safe and on the road!

Schedule: 2nd shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm Mon - Fri

Pay: $33.00/HR

Job Level: 2

Responsibilities:

• Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
• Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
• Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or GED) required
• ASE Certified Diesel Mechanic preferred
• 2-4 years diagnostic, maintenance and repair of Class 7 & 8 diesel trucks and trailers required
• Own set of tools and understanding the best practice for how to use required tools
