Fleet Technician – Ft. Myers

Working hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Tuesday–Friday and 3:00 AM – 11:30 AM, Saturday.

As a Fleet Technician, you will schedule and perform mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on all company fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on all company fleet vehicles
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on all types of vehicles
• Conduct preventive maintenance in the fleet
• Respond to service calls
• Maintain tools and keep the work area clean
• Pick up and deliver vehicles

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment
• Experience with heavy‑duty and PIT equipment
• Excellent mechanical and technical aptitude
• May need to supply automotive hand tools (excluding heavy‑duty or diagnostic tools)
• Driving record with no major moving violations in the last 3 years

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years journeyman mechanic experience (highly preferred)
• Experience with gasoline, diesel, and propane vehicles (preferred)
• ASE certification and CDL license or certification (strongly preferred)

*Major moving violations include leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, and reckless driving. Minor moving violations include speeding, driving too close, failure to stop, and improper lane changes. Driving records, including minor moving violations, will be evaluated according to Coke Florida guidelines to determine eligibility.
