Canfor, a global leader in wood products, seeks a Fleet Supervisor for New South Express in Camden, SC. You will oversee drivers and assets, drive efficiency, and partner with sales and safety teams to ensure safe, on-time delivery of wood products.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years in motor-vehicle management, strong leadership, and a focus on continuous improvement in logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Logistics or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years’ experience with commercial motor vehicles and drivers; management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; high attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Supervise/oversee drivers, equipment, and shipment of wood products at designated locations.
• Generate, monitor, and share reports on team performance, productivity, and profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coordination between logistics, sales, procurement, operations, and other departments.
• Provide leadership while building and developing a high-performing team; mentor and coach staff.
• Recruit, onboard, train, place, and pay drivers with Driver Services.
• Monitor driver compliance with DOT and other regulations; enforce safety standards.
• Ensure safety compliance and partner with managers on safety issues; drive continuous improvement.
