Job summary

Christman Building Innovation Group (CBIG) is seeking a Fleet Manager in the Lansing or Livonia, Michigan region to lead fleet strategy, asset optimization, and cross-site coordination. You will analyze utilization, manage acquisitions, and drive cost-effective asset life cycles.

This role requires 5+ years of fleet management, strong DOT compliance knowledge, and experience with telematics. You will supervise four regional Warehouse Foremen and partner with finance and safety teams to optimize

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive fleet management experience incl. heavy/specialty equipment.
• Experience managing fleet across multiple locations or business units.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA compliance and CDL requirements.
• Experience with fleet management systems and telematics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fleet management strategy.
• Oversee maintenance programs and DOT compliance across regions.
• Manage capital budgets and multi-year replacement plans.
• Lead four regional Warehouse Foremen and standardize processes.
• Negotiate purchase, lease, and rental agreements with vendors.
