Job summary

Caliber Fleet Solutions is seeking an Auto Shop Helper in Phoenix to support daily production area housekeeping, tool organization, and basic maintenance tasks. You will assist with cleaning spray booths, disposing of waste, and placing tools in proper locations to keep the shop efficient and safe.

The role emphasizes following standard operating procedures and working in a fast-paced production environment, with weekly pay and overtime eligibility; training opportunities include I-CAR and ASE

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber's insurance policy
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, including sweeping floors and disposing of unwanted parts
• Assist in cleaning of spray booths and organize tools and equipment
• Perform minor equipment and building maintenance/repairs as needed
• Follow Caliber's SOP and center procedures to complete repairs in a timely manner

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Fleet Solutions has an immediate job opening for Auto Shop Helper to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Maintaining the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area including daily emptying of waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted parts, assist in cleaning of spray booths, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location, maintaining parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion and perform minor equipment and building maintenance/repairs when necessary. The Auto Shop Helper will also follow all guidelines in accordance with Caliber's Standard Operating Procedure and center procedures, which allows teammates to complete repairs in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber's insurance policy
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification

ABILITES/SKILLS/KNOWNLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity - reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions - written and verbal
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
