Job summary

Caliber Fleet Solutions is hiring an Auto Shop Helper to support daily shop duties in North Dallas. You’ll keep the production area clean, handle waste, assist spray booth cleaning, organize tools, and perform light maintenance. You’ll follow SOPs to help teammates complete repairs efficiently.

Ideal candidates are able to lift up to 50 lbs, follow written and spoken instructions, and adapt quickly in a busy shop. This role offers daily benefits and opportunities for training and growth.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily housekeeping of interior of production area.
• Empty waste cans, sweep floors, dispose of unwanted parts.
• Assist in cleaning spray booths and organize tools.
• Keep parking lots and grounds neat and orderly.
• Perform minor equipment and building maintenance when needed.
• Follow Caliber SOPs and center procedures for timely repairs.

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Fleet Solutions has an immediate job opening for Auto Shop Helper to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Maintaining the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area including daily emptying of waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted parts, assist in cleaning of spray booths, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location, maintaining parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion and perform minor equipment and building maintenance/repairs when necessary. The Auto Shop Helper will also follow all guidelines in accordance with Caliber's Standard Operating Procedure and center procedures, which allows teammates to complete repairs in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification

ABILITES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
