Herc Rentals seeks an Assistant Fleet Solutions Manager in Bonita Springs, FL to support the Senior Fleet Solutions Manager across equipment categories, suppliers, and fleet initiatives. You will help optimize supplier relationships, monitor fleet metrics, and contribute to strategic plans for product categories.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in fleet management or procurement, a Bachelor's in Business or Supply Chain, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

3+ years in fleet management, sourcing, or procurement; equipment rental industry preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Assist in identifying and evaluating potential manufacturers and suppliers for assigned categories.
Support the recommendation of models and specifications for the rental fleet, focusing on safety, sustainability, and customer needs.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, warranty administration, and parts programs.
Help coordinate accessory, consumable, and telematics programs to align with fleet standards.
Partner with internal teams to support product launches, training, and promotions.
Contribute to fleet plans, including stock, growth, and disposal strategies.
Monitor and report on fleet metrics such as utilization, ROI, and TCO.
Assist in annual fleet planning, budgeting, and special projects.
