Job summary

Altec is seeking a Technical Solutions Specialist in Fleet Service to partner with operational stakeholders, solve complex problems using data, analytics, and business knowledge, and communicate findings to non-technical audiences.

You will explore data from multiple systems, implement lightweight automation with Python and Power Platform, and drive process improvements while traveling up to 15% as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (Science, Math, Technology, or Engineering) preferred; exceptional candidate with 2 years relevant experience may be considered.
• Include a 200-word (or less) attachment describing a business problem you solved using data and how your recommendation changed a decision.

Responsibilities

• Applies technical tools and business knowledge to develop solutions for complex Fleet Service business problems.
• Investigates operational and financial performance to identify drivers and translate findings into recommendations.
• Combines information from multiple systems and validates data quality before drawing conclusions.
• Partners with technical associates and Fleet Service stakeholders to define problems and evaluate solutions.
• Locates and defines new process improvement opportunities using understanding of Altec processes.
• Maintains knowledge of technologies for Fleet Service analytics, automation, and integration.
