Job summary

Carolina Casualty seeks a Fleet Safety Specialist to deliver risk management and safety services to trucking fleets across a multi-state territory, traveling about 60% to support clients.

You will analyze loss data, provide insights to Underwriting, and develop risk-control recommendations while maintaining knowledge of FMCSRs and DOT compliance. A strong background in commercial transportation risk is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial transportation risk management or fleet safety.
• Experience in trucking safety/compliance is required.
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide risk management and safety services to trucking fleets across a multi-state territory.
• Conduct periodic visits to prospective and current clients.
• Analyze information and prepare reports to assist pricing and account decisions.
• Identify root causes from loss data and offer practical risk-improvement recommendations.
• Deliver education and training on risk control products and industry standards.
