Job summary

NetJets Aviation, Inc. seeks a Fleet Reliability Specialist to ensure the accuracy and standardization of aircraft maintenance fault data within the Fault Data Management process.

You will review fault submissions and validate ATA classification to support reliability monitoring and operational decisions. Collaborating with Technical Service Managers, you will update data in Maintenix and related systems, escalate complex issues, and help research repeat faults.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in data maintenance or similar role.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification preferred.
  • Experience with data quality and fault reporting processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews maintenance fault data to ensure accurate reflection of technical condition.
  • Validates and updates ATA classification and fault attributes for each entry.
  • Updates data in FDM, Maintenix, or related systems.
  • Escalates complex discrepancies to Technical Services Managers or SMEs.
  • Supports reliability monitoring, trend analysis, and operational decisions.

Purpose of Position

The Fleet Reliability Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and standardization of aircraft maintenance fault data within the Fault Data Management (FDM) process.

This role serves as the primary, detailed reviewer of fault submissions, entry-by-entry, validating and correcting ATA classification and all associated attributes to ensure data is usable for reliability monitoring, trend analysis, repeat fault identification, and operational decision-making.

This role further serves to support the Technical Service Manager role in aircraft troubleshooting and reliability analysis as required.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Performs detailed review of maintenance fault data to ensure each entry accurately reflects the technical condition and failure context of the aircraft.
  • Reviews, corrects, and/or enters associated fault attributes including ATA chapter, failure mode, subject, position, phase of flight, abnormal procedures, CAS messages, driving fault, cannot duplicate status, final fix, failure notes, etc. for each fault entry.
  • Updates and corrects fault data within FDM, Maintenix, or associated systems as required.
  • Escalates complex discrepancies to Technical Services Managers or subject matter experts.
  • Applies standardized data structures and coding practices across fleets and data attributes.
  • Provides feedback to data quality and upstream inputs when data limitations impact reliability analysis.
  • Maintains efficient workflow to support timely completion of data validation.
  • Assists in troubleshooting aircraft with repeat faults as required.
  • Assists in data and aircraft research into repeat faults as required.
