Job summary

U-Haul is seeking skilled technicians to perform preventive maintenance on Ford and GMC trucks at our Medley, Florida location. You will maintain a modern fleet using proprietary tech, participate in ongoing training programs, and grow within a team that values safety and reliability.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work both independently and with a team. Tools are provided and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.
• Driver’s license.
• The ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
• Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
