Job summary

Village Travel in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Full Time Preventative Maintenance Mechanic to keep our fleet of 20 motorcoaches in top condition. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm, with potential overtime based on schedule.

You will perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC, brakes, electrical, suspension, and more to uphold safety and reliability. We offer a sign-on bonus and a mechanic training program with tool money to support your growth, plus a comprehensive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic understanding of maintenance and repair of motor vehicles.
• Willingness to participate in DOT drug testing program.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC, brake, electrical, suspension, ADA, interior, engine, and aftertreatment systems.
• Learn and apply DOT and CVSA requirements and regulations.
• Use maintenance software to complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Utilize company tools responsibly and coordinate with other shop personnel.
• Assist other mechanics and travel to other company facilities as needed.
