Job summary

Village Travel is seeking a Full-Time Diesel Mechanic in Wichita, KS to maintain our fleet of motorcoaches and company cars. You must have your own tools and be available Mon-Fri 6:00am-3:00pm with potential overtime.

Starting pay is $24–$29/hr based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package and a sign-on bonus program. The role emphasizes advanced diagnostics across HVAC, braking, electrical, suspension, and engine systems, plus DOT/CVSA compliance and timely paperwork using company

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in maintenance and repair of heavy‑duty diesel equipment.
• Participation in the company’s DOT drug testing program.

Responsibilities

• Advanced diagnostics and repair of HVAC, brake, electrical, suspension, ADA, interior, engine, and aftertreatment systems with minimal errors and supervision.
• Proficient in using maintenance software to complete paperwork timely.
• May participate in rotating on-call schedule after sufficient experience.
• Willing to assist other mechanics and travel to other company facilities as needed.
