We are looking for a Critical Operations Manager who can join us at Ayvens.

Key Purpose

  1. Support the Mission Critical Team to effectively manage the Maintained Fleet delivering excellent customer outcomes & value creation
  2. Act to support the customer and Ayvens with complex technical issues driving and supporting an acceptable resolution for all
  3. Conduct Technical Inspections and produce reports to support findings and make recommendations
  4. Maintain the highest degree of technical knowledge to support brilliant outcomes
  5. Act as a point of technical support
  6. Act as a point of escalation and drive customer focused resolutions

Summary of Responsibilities

  1. Proactively manage diary to drive effective and efficient resolution to issues
  2. Act as a point of contact for internal and external customers and explain complex technical issues in a digestible way
  3. Conduct onsite visits undertaking technical inspections and garage audits, producing reports on the outcomes
  4. Review supplier and ensure adherence to Ayvens standards
  5. Complete adhoc quality inspections as required
  6. Produce monthly activity and savings reports
  7. Support adhoc projects as required
  8. Support the relationship with key SMR suppliers by managing queries and escalations
  9. Take a proactive approach to inquiries by telephone and email, keeping parties informed of follow-up activity and anticipating the next steps.
  10. Provide technical support and guidance aligned with your skills and qualifications to internal and external customers
  11. Manage cases with cost control and customer as a balanced focus, proactively seek to refer for goodwill and warranty consideration
  12. Proactively seek to minimize downtime for all customers through effective supplier management & great communications
  13. Undertake development work to systems and processes to support continuous improvement
  14. Produce simple reports as required to support decision making

Skills, Experience & Background

  1. IMI Level 4 Technician or equivalent & IMI level 4 Repair of Electric & Hybrid Vehicles
  2. Experience in proactive Fleet Management
  3. Knowledge and experience of the Service, Maintenance and Repair from an OEM, Dealership or Independent perspective
  4. Understanding of OEM Warranty Policies
  5. Exceptional technical knowledge with a keen interest in new technology
  6. Proven ability to resolve complex queries with multiple stakeholders
  7. Evidence of strong communication skills with the ability to influence others
  8. Experienced at producing reports for Technical Inspections
