Job summary

A leading waste services company is looking for a Fleet Operations Management Trainee in Raleigh, NC. The 12-month program combines classroom instruction with on-the-job training to develop participants into fleet maintenance manager roles. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or applicable experience, supervisory skills, and be willing to relocate. Qualifications

• Four years of supervisory/leadership experience in fleet maintenance operations.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willing to relocate within an assigned geographic area after training.
• Experience with Diesel or CNG mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Fleet Operations Management Trainee curriculum.
• Develop knowledge and skills required of a Fleet Manager.
• Attend mandatory group training sessions.
• Understand financial and forecasting processes.
• Participate in safety programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience
