Century Companies, Inc. seeks an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Equipment Operations Manager to lead and optimize our field fleet across multiple sites.

You will oversee maintenance, transport, and facility operations, aiming to maximize uptime and safety. The role requires a ten-year leadership track in heavy equipment or construction operations, with budgeting, analytics, and technology integration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leadership in heavy equipment maintenance or fleet operations.
• Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction equipment and lifecycle management.
• Experience with maintenance budgets and cost analyses.
• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with maintenance management systems and telematics.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational software.
• Valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for fleet and equipment operations across multiple divisions.
• Oversee preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and readiness programs.
• Develop and manage departmental operating budgets.
• Track maintenance budgets, forecasts, and cost analyses.
• Manage equipment acquisition, rentals, and disposal.
• Analyze utilization, lifecycle costs, downtime, and performance metrics.
• Lead implementation of maintenance tech including telematics and GPS.
• Supervise staff and support personnel.
• Participate in recruiting and workforce planning.
• Establish relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Promote a safe work environment and OSHA/MSHA/DOT compliance.
• Perform other duties as required.
