Job summary
Shaw Industries Group, Inc. seeks a Fleet Services Shop Supervisor to lead daily shop operations and support the Manager of Fleet Services in executing priorities. The role supervises shop personnel, coordinates workflow, and ensures fleet equipment is maintained safely and in compliance.
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 6AM - 6PM. The position emphasizes leadership, safety, and collaboration with EHS and Transportation Risk Management to audit readiness and cost control.
Qualifications
- Must have high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least one year of management experience.
- Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, FMCSA and DOT requirements, OSHA and environmental compliance.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily operations of Fleet Services.
- Supervise and assign work, manage performance of shop staff.
- Monitor shop performance, maintenance compliance, labor efficiency, and parts accountability.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and inspections to FMCSA requirements.
- Lead safety meetings and coordinate with EHS, DOT and OSHA.
- Utilize Trimble and Fusion to review work orders and repairs.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for cost and quality.
- Promote a safe, compliant, and productive shop environment.
