Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country is seeking a Fleet Service Technician to perform day-to-day repairs on the company fleet, including diagnostics and preventative maintenance. The role involves traveling for some repairs and performing DOT inspections as required by regulations.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of mechanic experience, a Class A CDL or the ability to obtain one, and a safety-minded approach.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment.
• 3+ years journeyman mechanic experience preferred.
• Two or more years of experience with heavy diesel mechanical work.
• Must have an active Class A CDL or ability to obtain it.
• May be required to supply automotive hand tools. (Not including heavy duty or diagnostic tools.)
• ASE certification preferred; Trade School or military training and education.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and complete repairs on all types of vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance and unscheduled repair work on company fleet.
• Must be able to perform tasks within budget constraints.
• Welding or fabrication of parts for repairs.
• Respond to service calls and maintain tools.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles; may include overnight stay.
