Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc. Savannah River division is seeking a Fleet Mechanic 1 to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair diesel and gasoline trucks, trailers, pallet jacks, and forklifts.

Join our team in a Monday–Friday 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM schedule, with on-the-job training and a comprehensive benefits package including vacation, medical, dental, life insurance, a 401(k) match, and CDL tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy.
• PPE as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform various preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on all types of fleet equipment.
• Troubleshoots mechanical and electronic malfunctions, repair or replace defective parts as needed.
• Research and order parts, accurately record usage, and asset in managing stock inventory.
• Complete electronic work orders, ensure all information is recorded in computerized maintenance system.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all Good Manufacturing Practice.
• Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management.
