Job summary

Flood Brothers Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair company vehicles including box trucks, semi trucks, vans, and trailers.

The role requires performing scheduled preventive maintenance and diagnosing issues to keep the fleet operating safely and efficiently. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and a starting pay of 65,000 to 75,000 dollars per year, with pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years fleet maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with no major moving violations in the past 5 years.
• CDL not required but preferred.
• Must pass DOT Physical and drug test.
• Own or possess the tools required to accomplish the essential job results.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet equipment and perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose vehicle failures, disassemble, repair and reassemble parts as necessary.
• Input all required information into fleet maintenance software (Samsara for vehicle record keeping).
• Must respond to service repairs in the field.
• Coordinate any tows required back to the Flood Brothers shop.
• Arrange any mobile tire replacements as required.
• Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform repairs for all types of equipment.
• Must be able to perform all work adhering to DOT, OSHA, and Flood Brothers safety and maintenance policies.
• Communicate with the Operations Department regarding vehicle issues, repair statuses, and vehicles required for service.
• Make and receive calls from drivers regarding vehicle issues and down vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
