Job summary

Flood Brothers Inc in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair company vehicles, including box and semi trucks, vans, and trailers. The role requires flexible hours with some weekends, evenings, and holidays.

You will diagnose, repair, and service fleet equipment, input records into Samsara, and coordinate tows and mobile tire replacements while adhering to DOT and company safety policies. Starting pay ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years fleet maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with no major moving violations in the past 5 years.
• CDL not required but preferred.
• Must be able to pass DOT Physical and drug test.
• Own or possess the tools required to accomplish the essential job results required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet equipment and perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose vehicle failures, disassemble, repair and reassemble parts as necessary.
• Input all required information into fleet maintenance software (Samsara for vehicle record keeping).
• Must respond to service repairs in the field.
• Coordinate any tows required back to the Flood Brothers shop.
• Arrange any mobile tire replacements as required.
• Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform repairs for all types of equipment.
• Must adhere to DOT, OSHA, and Flood Brothers safety and maintenance policies.
• Communicate with the Operations Department regarding vehicle issues and repair statuses.
• Make and receive calls from drivers regarding vehicle issues and down vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
