Job summary

Universal Transportation Systems is seeking a full-time Fleet Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet, including Dodge Caravans, Toyota Prius, and school buses in the Cincinnati area. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, a valid Ohio driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Driver's License
• Five years of automotive mechanic experience
• Supply own mechanic hand tools required for auto repairs
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. frequently, and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
• Light/ medium duty for minivans and school buses. This will be a multifaceted role.
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify equipment issues
