Job summary

MMT Ambulance is seeking skilled EMS vehicle technicians to diagnose, maintain, repair, and inspect ambulance and related equipment. You will document all actions in MMT’s Fleet Management System, source parts through national accounts, and perform both major and minor repairs to keep a growing fleet in peak condition.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Good driving record
• Self-confidence, emotional stability, good judgment, and tolerance for high stress
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Prior experience with repair and maintenance of ambulance or emergency vehicles preferred
• Proficiency in light diesel and gas vehicle repair
• Ability to utilize multiple computer systems and document actions in Fleet Management System
• ASE or manufacturers certifications preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, rebuilds, and repairs vehicles and equipment.
• Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Documents vehicle records in Fleet Management system.
• Executes major and minor repairs of defective components and vehicle systems.

Successful candidates will perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis, service and repair of all vehicle and patient transport/securement systems.
