Job summary

Allegheny Transportation Services is seeking a qualified Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair various motor vehicles. You will liaise with operators to understand concerns, perform routine maintenance, and replace parts to keep vehicles functioning safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include providing inspections, preparing quotes, logging work, and maintaining tools according to safety policies. Prior experience as a mechanic is required along with a high school diploma.

• One year of mechanic experience.
• High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues.
• Liaise with clients and drivers to determine their automotive requirements and communicate vehicular defects or problems.
• Provide routine inspections of vehicles and inform clients of any issues.
• Prepare quotes and work estimates as requested.
• Keep an accurate log of all work performed.
• Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition.
• Adhere to company work safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
