A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FLEET MECHANIC / OIL & LUBE TECHNICIAN

In this role, you ensure the proper functioning of our fleet trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment through regular preventative maintenance. You inspect equipment for compliance and functionality, ensuring all parts are well-lubricated. You troubleshoot issues, assist in repairs, interpret manuals and work orders, and occasionally respond to roadside calls. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment and adhering to safety regulations are essential. You take pride in keeping machinery running efficiently!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Ability to service and diagnose brakes and diesel trucks (tractors/trailers).
• Ability to use basic hand tools.

Additional requirements include:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Vocational training and a CDL are preferred, but other factors are considered. Are you detail-oriented, communicative, self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize tasks? If yes, you might be perfect for this role!
