Job summary

Forward Air is seeking a skilled Mechanic to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced transportation environment. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair tractors, trailers, and material-handling equipment that support expedited LTL, intermodal, and final mile operations across North America.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, brake, and engine systems, and responding to urgent repair needs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting and repairing heavy vehicles such as tractors and trailers.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and DOT standards.
