Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is seeking a diligent Mechanic to join our in-house fleet team in Saint Augustine, FL. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse range of diesel/gas trucks, mowers, and landscape tools, while keeping safety and company image standards in mind.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, accurate record-keeping, and collaboration with shop staff to keep our operations running smoothly. Experience preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of hands-on mechanical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with diesel and gas engines.
• Ability to supply personal tools as needed to perform the role.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Recondition vehicles and equipment to meet safety and image standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Accurately document and maintain service and repair records.
• Provide exceptional internal customer service with emphasis on efficiency and communication.
• Assist with other operational tasks as assigned.
