Allied Cooperative in Adams, WI is seeking a hands-on mechanic to provide timely mechanical service for fleet vehicles and equipment. You will support the Shop Supervisor with diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs, while keeping detailed service records and parts usage.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of mechanical experience or technical training in diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment repair preferred.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Willingness to learn and follow direction from experienced mechanics and supervisors.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and perform physical job functions.
• Good communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and service tasks on fleet vehicles and equipment as assigned.
• Assist shop mechanics with diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with ordering parts and retrieving supplies as directed by the Shop Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of service time, maintenance performed, and parts used.
• Inspect equipment for basic mechanical issues and report concerns to the Shop Supervisor.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Participate in training to improve mechanical skills and knowledge.
• Perform general shop duties, including cleaning, organizing, and assisting other team members as needed
