Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain county vehicles and off-road equipment; perform preventive maintenance; change and repair tires.
• Provide accurate records of work performed; prepare repair orders.
• Acquire part numbers and prices; purchase equipment and parts.
• Repair vehicles and equipment in the field as needed.
• Respond after hours to disabled emergency vehicles.
• Lock facility at end of shift; record fuel readings.
• Perform electrical and mechanical diagnosis on engine controls.
• Fabricate and weld heavy equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
