Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Fleet Mechanic to perform service work, troubleshooting and DOT inspections on fleet trucks and semi-trailers. Road calls may be required.

You will ensure vehicles are safe and ready to operate, with feedback provided to the Lead/Shop Foreman on issues. The position offers a starting rate of $28.30/hr with a potential to earn up to $31.45/hr, plus comprehensive benefits including Pension, Medical, Dental, holidays, and PTO as described in the collective bargaining

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of light/medium duty truck repair experience.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and road test.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work 8+ hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical repairs on all types of vehicles/equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Inspect trucks for DOT infractions and repair as required.
• Provide preventative maintenance, repairs, and federal inspections for fleet trucks.
• Respond to road calls as needed and communicate issues to lead or shop foreman.
