Job summary

SavATree is hiring a mechanic in Mashpee, MA to ensure all equipment and vehicles are ready and functioning through repairs and preventive maintenance. You will coordinate with Managers, read Vehicle Inspection Reports, order parts, and complete vendor paperwork while training field specialists when possible.

The ideal candidate has diesel/two-stroke engine repair knowledge, experience with aerial lifts, spray equipment, and holds a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).

Qualifications

• Two-stroke engine repair knowledge
• Diesel engine repair and maintenance experience
• Experience operating and maintaining aerial lifts (bucket) trucks
• Experience with spray equipment, tanks and pumps
• Your own basic tools for engine repair and maintenance
• Ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals and diagnostic charts for learning and troubleshooting a mechanical or electrical nature
• Valid Driver’s license required, CDL preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment and vehicles are ready and working through repairs and maintenance.
• Communicate and coordinate major repairs with Managers; read Vehicle Inspection Reports and prioritize work.
• Order and receive parts and supplies; complete paperwork for office and vendors; train field specialists on equipment maintenance and vehicle operations.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment in the Shop and in the Yard.
