Job summary

Warning Lites is hiring a Fleet Mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel/gas trucks and equipment across Minnesota. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance and DOT compliance, with occasional welding, mostly in the shop and some field service.

Candidates should have fleet mechanic experience (diesel preferred), strong troubleshooting, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. CDL is preferred or willingness to obtain. OT may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous Fleet mechanic experience (diesel preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license (clean record).
• Ability to maintain a FEDMED card.
• CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel/gas trucks and equipment.
• Work on electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Complete DOT compliance checks.
• Occasional welding/fabrication.
• Mostly shop work, with some field service.
