Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions in Irving, TX is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician/Mechanic to service medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles in mobile and shop settings. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and document repairs while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The position offers weekly pay, a full benefits package within 30 days, and opportunities for nationwide career growth. Schedule includes Tue–Fri 2:00pm–10:30pm and Sat 8:00am–4:30pm, with 5+ years’ hands-on diesel/gas

Qualifications

5+ years’ hands-on experience performing gas and some diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role.
Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
Document repairs and complete work orders.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations.
