Job summary

City of Pasco is seeking a skilled Mechanic to maintain diesel and gasoline-powered City vehicles and equipment. You will diagnose, repair, perform preventative maintenance, weld, and fabricate parts, and maintain accurate records.

• Two years of automotive technology training.
• Four years of mechanical repair experience on gasoline/diesel equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and overhaul diesel/gasoline vehicles and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics.
• Weld and fabricate parts as needed.
• Maintain accurate repair records and use shop equipment safely.
• Service engines, hydraulics, brakes, and related systems.
