Job summary

Luck Stone Corporation is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician in Manakin Sabot, VA. The role covers regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and on-site repairs for a diesel and small-engine fleet.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, log maintenance, manage parts inventory, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The position offers onsite hours, competitive pay, and full benefits beginning day one.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of automotive systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting ability.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance across the fleet, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and parts replacement.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues across engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical systems — both diesel and small engine.
• Minimize vehicle downtime by efficiently resolving issues and keeping the fleet operating safely and reliably.
• Conduct Virginia state inspections and ensure all vehicles meet local, state, and federal safety and maintenance regulations.
• Accurately log all maintenance and repair activity and maintain inventory records of parts and supplies.
• Oversee parts and tools inventory, monitoring levels and reordering as needed to keep operations running without interruption.
• Create detailed invoices for work performed, process payments, and maintain organized transaction records.
• Compile and present reports on fleet maintenance status to support planning and budgeting.
