Job summary

North Sky Communications, LLC is seeking a Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on our fleet of vehicles and equipment. You will ensure all vehicles operate safely and efficiently in compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a mechanic, preferably with fleet or commercial equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Determine repair or maintenance plans for vehicles and equipment based on cost/benefit analysis.
• Conduct diagnostics to troubleshoot failures in vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect and provide strategic recommendations for proactive maintenance.
• Follow work procedures for the repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and fueled at all times.
• Operate and test vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.
