Herc Rentals is seeking a Mechanic B to join our team in Marietta, GA. This intermediate technician role focuses on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to keep our heavy equipment on the rental ready line. You will work under supervision, perform routine maintenance, and mentor Mechanic C technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to operate Herc-owned fleet and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment schematics and manuals.
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on all Herc-owned fleet at the branch on a regular schedule.
• Diagnose and repair cooling, electrical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools.
• Inspect and maintain engines, fuel systems, filters, and emission components.
• Repair electrical systems, wiring, sensors, and control units as needed.
• Accurately document service reports and parts, assist in training junior technicians.
