Compensation and Benefits:

• 2nd and/or 3rd shift schedule: 4 10 hour shifts! 4pm to 2am Monday - Thursday

• Mechanically Minded. This job requires you to be able to troubleshoot and fix mechanical problems on diesel tractors and beverage trailers.
• Basic Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance. Having basic knowledge of preventative maintenance, airbrakes, and electricity helps with this position.
• Self and Team Motivated. Work in an inviting team environment sharing success both individually and as a team.
• Valid Driver’s License. This position requires you to drive a vehicle in and out. A CDL Class A or B is preferred but not required.
• Experience with INSITE Engine Diagnostics Software with Cummins is a plus!

What you will do as a Mechanic at Alliance:

• Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment, including but not limited to: beverage tractors, beverage and dry van trailers, hilo's, pallet jacks, and passenger vehicles.
• Help keep shop area clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Chicago native Larry Gary settled in Hastings, MI, where he owned and operated a bowling alley. In 1963, Larry and his wife, Joan, decided a change was in order; they moved to the Grand Rapids area, where Larry founded Kent Beverage.

Detroit native Tim Sullivan, along with his brother Mike, founded Sullivan Brothers Construction on the east side of the state. However, after seeing his friends thrive in the beer distribution business, Tim decided to make a change, purchasing Grand Rapids' B&B Beer in 1977.

Both companies grew and flourished, passing from one generation to the next, each strengthening its roots in Michigan. Eventually, over a shared pint, the Gary and Sullivan families envisioned a stronger future together.
