Menard, Inc Career Center is hiring a Fleet Mechanic based in Plano, IL. The role involves performing major and minor repairs/service work on the Menards Fleet, which includes forklifts, cars/trucks, trailers, and more.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fleet equipment to locate and determine the extent of necessary repair.
• Repair, replace, and adjust necessary units and related parts.
• Perform maintenance work to DOT standards for over-the-road equipment.
• Perform general overhaul and repair work on gasoline, diesel, propane, and battery powered engines/equipment.
• General repair, welding, and fabrication of fleet units.
• Perform preventative maintenance work on vehicles including lubrication, oil changes, and annual inspections.
• Clean and maintain the work area and equipment.
• Maintain records on all maintenance and repair work performed.
