Job summary

Priority Ambulance California Llc seeks a skilled automotive technician to maintain and repair its fleet of emergency response vehicles in the San Bernardino area. You will perform preventative maintenance and diagnose complex automotive systems to keep ambulances on the road.

The role requires 2 years of mechanic experience or 1 year after trade school, own tools, and a valid drivers license. You must be able to lift 50 lbs and work a 24-hour shift schedule while following privacy and safety

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of automotive repair methods and tools.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, air conditioning, braking, and powertrain systems.
• Two years' experience as a mechanic, or one year post-trade school.
• Must furnish own tools.
• Current valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work 24 hours.
• Must comply with privacy/safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of company vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks and services per PM policies.
• Complete accurate service and repair records.
• Identify causes of failures and report to Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain facility and grounds as assigned.
• Diagnose and repair brake, electrical, powertrain, and HVAC systems.
• Respond to road calls as needed.
• Keep up with industry trends.
