Pioneer Resources seeks a Licensed Fleet Mechanic to support a large lakeshore fleet in Muskegon, MI. Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to read/write English, perform basic math, and record information.
• Must complete required trainings; may pursue Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic certifications within one year.
• Must have valid Michigan driver’s license with 3+ years of driving, <6 points, no disqualifying violations.

Responsibilities

• Use tools and diagnostic equipment to analyze and repair vehicles.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain agency vehicles and fleet equipment.
• Perform gas and arc welding as needed.
• Keep accurate service records and maintain parts inventory.
• Conduct bus safety inspections and support state safety requirements.
• Travel up to 25% between jobs and sites as required.
