Pioneer Resources, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Fleet Mechanic in Muskegon, MI. The role involves repairing and maintaining our transportation fleet, using advanced diagnostic equipment, and performing gas and arc welding as needed.

A valid Michigan driver’s license and certification within a year are required. This is a DOT-safety sensitive, full-time position with a starting wage of $22.00 per hour and a schedule that may include on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain Heavy Duty Truck certifications within one year of employment (state of Michigan).
• Valid Michigan driver’s license with 3+ years driving experience, <6 points, no disqualifying violations.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance on agency vehicles and equipment.
• Use diagnostic equipment to analyze on-board computers and systems.
• Diagnose problems in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems and implement solutions.
• Install parts efficiently and perform gas and arc welding.
• Conduct test drives to verify repairs and maintain accurate records of repairs and inventory.
• Assist with safety inspections and upkeep of shop and fleet.
