Job Description: Fleet Mechanic

Under supervision of the Fleet Manager, maintain and repair all fleet vehicles, golf carts, and equipment, including preventative maintenance. Must have at least 3 years of mechanical experience and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

1. Service vehicles and equipment, including oil changes and system checks.
2. Know lubricants and oil viscosities for various equipment.
3. Repair small engines (gas & diesel) and larger engines in vehicles and equipment.
4. Perform welding and minor body repairs.
5. Maintain and repair golf carts, utility vehicles, and mowing reels.
6. Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform preventative maintenance.
7. Assist in training staff and organizing parts inventory.
8. Monitor fuel tanks and assist in tire repairs and replacements.
9. Repair generators and document work as required.
10. Ensure safety and cleanliness of work areas.
